Okay, now that you’ve set your goal, it’s pretty easy to guess what has to be done next. Workout. Now one of the biggest things that I find is that I’m always in a state of flux when it comes to my routine. I’m constantly adjusting to my body and my schedule. It never really stays the same. This is where lifestyle comes into play. Things are always going on in our personal lives that have an impact on our bodies and of course, our schedules. So right off the bat, you should take the pressure off yourself when it comes to those things. Really, you just have to stay committed to going, and going enough to where you can actually produce results. Otherwise, all you’ll end up doing is making yourself constantly sore because your body won’t get used to and over the hump of a regular routine. This can be frustrating as well, because of the constant intense soreness and disappointment you’ll feel by telling yourself to do one thing and then doing another.
It’s important to take your lifestyle into consideration. Do you play a lot of sports? Have a strenuous job? Do you sit at a computer all day? All these factors should be taken into account when it comes to your routine. Say for instance you have a really strenuous job. I’ve had plenty. Well then maybe you want to build more strength so that it’ll be easier to do that job. You don’t want to overdo it either. Or else you’ll just be making your job harder, or you won’t have any energy left to do anything else when you get home. There is a give and take. A balance that you want to achieve. Sitting down all day may prompt you to do a bit of cardio work in your routine and some stretching. When it comes to athletics, you may want to increase your speed and performance. You get the picture. So take these things into consideration when it comes to your routine. Make it a supplemental match to your lifestyle.
